Welcome to Glen Cove Elementary

Glen Cove Elementary School serves a culturally and linguistically diverse community of students from transitional kindergarten (TK) through grade five. Our campus also accommodates State Child Development and Preschool programs. Moreover, we offer a chorus program, a visual and performing arts studio, and a STEAM lab. Our dedicated support staff ensures a nurturing environment where students actively participate in enriching daily activities.

The staff at Glen Cove Elementary consists of dedicated and qualified educators who foster a professional learning community. Our dedicated educators are extensively trained in Project GLAD (Guided Language Acquisition Design), a dynamic curricular model comprising more than 40 teaching strategies. This student-centered approach supports all learners in acquiring academic language, enhancing literacy skills, and mastering content knowledge. With GLAD-trained teachers at the helm, students actively engage in learning, foster inquiry skills, and cultivate essential social abilities.
